How to allow customers to send a recording of their issue, even before interacting with an agent?

How to let your customers open a conversation with a screen recording

When your customers ask for help in your messenger, you might want to let them send a recording of their issue along with their support inquiry.

To do so you can use your Intercom Bot as described in Birdie for Intercom Quicktart.

However, if you don’t use Intercom bot - or if you prefer this solution - Birdie can handle that automatically for you:

Go to your Birdie Settings page, scroll to your Intercom integration, and enable the option Ask for a recording when a user starts a chat.

That’s it 🙌 Now each time a user starts a new conversation, he will be proposed to add a recording as you can see in the preview.

You will notice that you can edit 3 text blocks to make this automation talk the way you want.
