Please note that the behavior you're experiencing is not related to Zest but a bug in the technology (Chromium). The bug has been fixed on Mars 21st by the Chromium team to fix it.

Solution 1️⃣

Step 1: Update Google Chrome (Open Chrome. At the top right > click More > click Help  About Google Chrome > click Update Google Chrome.)

Step 2: Make sure chrome is listed in Security & Privacy under screen recording and microphone. (To change these preferences on your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy).

Step 3: Restart the browser and record.

That should work now 😊
